These terms cover buying and using Agent Pets. They’re written to be read. By buying or using Agent Pets, you agree to them.
1. Who sells what
Agent Pets (“we”, “us”) makes the Agent Pets software: the getagentpets command-line tool, the local helper it installs, and the browser extension. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments, who is the merchant of record for all orders. Dodo Payments handles payment, taxes such as VAT and sales tax, invoices and payment-related customer service, and its name appears on your statement.
2. Price
Agent Pets costs $9 USD as a one-time purchase, plus any tax shown at checkout. Early buyers pay an early-bird price of $6; the discount is applied automatically at checkout while the offer lasts. There is no subscription.
3. Your license
When you buy Agent Pets, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it for your own work, in up to 3 browsers at a time, on computers you use. The license doesn’t expire, and it includes the updates we release for Agent Pets.
You may not:
- share, sell, resell or publish your license key, or use it in more browsers than your license allows;
- remove, disable or work around the license check;
- redistribute, sublicense or sell Agent Pets or modified copies of it.
4. Your agents and your decisions
Agent Pets shows what your coding agents are doing and passes on your answers: when you click Allow, Always or Deny, or send a reply, Agent Pets delivers that decision to your agent. You remain responsible for what you allow your agents to do, and for complying with the terms of the agents and services you use.
5. Third-party software
Agent Pets works with third-party software, including Claude Code, OpenCode, omp, Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers, Node.js and npm. We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by their makers, their names belong to their owners, and changes they make may affect how Agent Pets works.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. See the refund policy. When a purchase is refunded, its license key is disabled.
7. Ending the license
You can stop using Agent Pets at any time (npx getagentpets uninstall removes it). Your license ends if your purchase is refunded or charged back, or if you seriously breach these terms; when it ends, you must stop using Agent Pets.
8. No warranty
Agent Pets is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will work with every version of the software it connects to.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Agent Pets, including from actions your coding agents take. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Agent Pets.
10. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived by contract.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the seller resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. Changes don’t take away the license you already bought.
